This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft. A bronze shaft sleeve protects the shaft, while a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber provides fluid containment at temperatures up to 250°F. This assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure in a NEMA 182 T-frame. The motor connects to the pump via a Woods coupler and is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. This equipment has a PEI value of 0.94 and is configured for across the line starting.
