This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and an 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the pump shaft. Gauge ports are located at the suction and discharge connections to facilitate pressure monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 326T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and is rated for 230-460V/60/3PH power. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
