This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent shaft contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge assists with self-venting and piping alignment.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor uses a 256 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit operates with an across-the-line starting configuration and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
