This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction port and a 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact with circulating fluids and provides pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 50 HP motor mounted on a NEMA 326 frame. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460V/60Hz/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency Baldor model with an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40°C ambient rating. The unit is assembled on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. This equipment meets the DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
