This close-coupled end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a dry shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate internal components from fluid contact. It utilizes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber. The pump assembly maintains a 125 PSI pressure rating and incorporates a wear ring to support hydraulic performance.
The motor delivers 15 HP with premium efficiency and utilizes a TEFC enclosure, an operating speed of 1750 RPM, and Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V 3PH electrical supply with a DOE PEI of 0.43. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
