This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP WEG motor. It is configured with a NEMA 324 T-frame, an ODP enclosure, and across the line starting. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler. The pump has a PEI rating of 0.94 and is designed for a 40 °C ambient environment.
