This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit features a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from system fluid, utilizing a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal configuration supports operating temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps, integrated pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design that allows for maintenance without disconnecting system piping. The top centerline discharge design provides self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 60 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is configured with a 326 JM motor frame with feet and utilizes across-the-line starting. Electrical specifications include a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding and a DOE PEI of 0.95.
