This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pull-out design allows for servicing without removing system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor. It is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 213 JM motor frame with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH with across the line starting. This equipment meets the MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standard and has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
