This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system conditions.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC motor. It is configured for a 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is mounted on a NEMA 213 frame and utilizes a power frame size H. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit complies with EISA energy regulations, maintains a DOE PEI of 0.88, and has a Hydraulic Institute energy rating of 12.
