This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal utilizes a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. It meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupling. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
