This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps for filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is mounted in a 284 JM frame with feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The assembly includes across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and complies with premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and fluid temperatures up to 250°F.
