This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal using a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a NEMA 184T frame. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor provides premium efficiency, meeting MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.85.
