This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 326 frame. The motor meets WEG premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler covered by a guard. This unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and an HI Energy Rating of 7, suitable for a 40°C ambient environment.
