This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The construction features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for internal service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and enables self-venting.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. The motor is configured on a 215 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Electrical operation is 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH, with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and complies with premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. This unit has a PEI rating of 0.9 and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F with a 40 °C ambient rating.
