This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal impeller diameter made of bronze. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and includes a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor in a NEMA 256 T frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings within the bearing frame. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.97 and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
