This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided at both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a NEMA 184T frame, 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply, and across the line starting. The unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. It is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system utilizes a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
