This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction port and a 6" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and includes a bronze wear ring. The cast iron casing incorporates pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The pump assembly uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a mechanical seal featuring a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit handles clean water at temperatures up to 300 °F and employs a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP motor. The Baldor motor features an ODP enclosure, a 286T NEMA frame, and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and uses an across the line starting option. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the motor to the bearing frame, which utilizes greasable bearings. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards as defined in MG1-12.55.
