This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It uses a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP WEG premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure with a NEMA 284 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with Across the Line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This model is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.90 and an HI Energy Rating of 10. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient operation and maintains a standard CCW rotation.
