This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly uses a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a cast iron casing. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft and flush seal line taps to protect the internal components from system particles.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. This TEFC Baldor motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and greasable bearings. The pump is configured for across-the-line starting and holds a 40 °C ambient rating, with a DOE PEI of 0.93.
