This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 184T frame. This configuration uses a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply and features a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards as specified in MG1-12.55. The pump has a PEI of 0.94.
