This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. Inside the casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller regulates flow. The unit uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber seals the assembly and operates at temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. This motor is enclosed in an ODP housing, occupies a NEMA 213T frame, and utilizes a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The equipment complies with NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and carries a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
