This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The design includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout feature that allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted on a 213 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA standards with a 40°C ambient rating and CCW rotation. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features a top centerline discharge configuration to assist with venting and piping alignment.
