This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze shaft sleeve and a stainless steel shaft. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 324 T-frame configuration. It utilizes a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is configured on a welded base with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
