This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design that uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections and utilizes a center-line discharge configuration for air venting.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP, 230-460V, 3PH Baldor TEFC motor. The motor resides in a 286 TS NEMA frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump mounts to a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. It is configured for across the line starting and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
