This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame houses greasable bearings, and pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 256T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It utilizes a Woods coupler and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with a PEI of 0.91.
