This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and cover with an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F operation. The design incorporates a dry shaft, rear pullout capability, and top centerline discharge. Standard features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 215 JM frame with feet, 575V, 3PH, 60Hz power, and across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature conditions and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
