This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, capable of handling clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings for both suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254 T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89 and is rated for operation in a 40°C ambient environment.
