This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections and ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of an optional filter.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. It operates at 1750 RPM within a 256 JM motor frame that includes feet and a TEFC enclosure. Power requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH, with an across the line starting option and a 40 °C ambient rating. This unit features a top center line discharge design and a rear pullout assembly to facilitate servicing. It maintains a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.92.
