This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge connections, equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the system fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The rear pull-out design allows for internal servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and assists with self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with an 184 JM motor frame style with feet and an across-the-line starting option. The unit connects to a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.91. The casing includes flush seal line taps for the installation of an optional filter to protect the seal from particulates in open systems, as well as pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
