This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design consisting of a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections and supports flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings, and the unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
