This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with suction and discharge pressure tappings.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.90 and an HI energy rating of 10, suitable for a 40°C ambient environment.
