This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump includes a cast iron casing and cover, along with a stainless steel NSF61 impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal construction supports a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The pump is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and operates without a wear ring. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid, while the slip-on shaft sleeve facilitates field maintenance.
The pump is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 145JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features an across-the-line starting option and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
