This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet, gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections, and a drain port at the bottom of the casing.
This pump operates at 1450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 254 frame. The motor is a TEFC enclosure with a terminal strip and is configured for 380-415/50/3 power supply with Y-Delta high voltage starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system features permanently lubricated sealed-for-life bearings and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards for 50Hz operation.
