This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed from cast iron and houses a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to separate the circulating fluid from the shaft. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP, TEFC Baldor Super E motor in a NEMA 364 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This unit is EISA compliant, with a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and an HI Energy Rating of 7.
