This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller includes a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain.
This unit is configured with a 2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is built on a 145 JM frame style with feet and operates on a 230-460V, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. It meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly has a PEI value of 0.78 and supports 40 °C ambient temperatures.
