This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 300°F clean water. The pump also includes integrated pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 324 TS NEMA motor frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
