This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction port and a 2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber. This unit operates in clean water at temperatures up to 300°F and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, operating at 3450 RPM on 230-460/60/3PH power. It features a JM motor frame style with feet, NEMA standard construction, and CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with a PEI of 0.9. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design for servicing and a top centerline discharge to facilitate piping layouts and reduce strain.
