This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This configuration is rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
This pump is driven by a 30 HP, 1750 RPM motor in a 286 JM frame style with feet. The motor features a TEFC enclosure manufactured by WEG and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. It utilizes an across-the-line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit has a PEI value of 0.94 and is intended for use in clean water applications.
