This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The internal dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, and pressure tappings are provided at the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected by a standard Woods coupler to a greasable bearing frame. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This model has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93 and is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures with CCW rotation.
