This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze shaft sleeve and stainless steel shaft. The hydraulic assembly comprises a stainless steel NSF61 impeller, which is balanced for operation. This unit incorporates a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Sealing is achieved through a ceramic seat and EPT rubber mechanical seal, supporting pressure ratings up to 125 PSI. Gauging ports are integrated at both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The assembly utilizes a 1.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, which incorporates Aegis grounding and functions on 380-460V 3PH power, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.51. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
