This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 6" suction connection, and a 5" discharge connection. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. A mechanical seal is included, featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, with a temperature rating of 225 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections along with flush seal line taps.
The pump is driven by a 20 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in a TEFC enclosure on a NEMA 256T frame. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with an across the line starting configuration. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and is connected to the motor through a Woods coupler. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
