This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a 10" nominal impeller made of bronze. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump provides 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges and no wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact with system fluid and incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
The pump is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor utilizes a JM frame style with feet, 1750 RPM operation, and a 40°C ambient rating. It adheres to NEMA standards and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This unit is configured with AEGIS shaft grounding and across the line starting. The performance efficiency index (PEI) is 0.94.
