This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal bronze impeller. It includes a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The pump features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The system operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184 T frame. It uses 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base featuring an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding, meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump has a PEI of 0.91.
