This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" stainless steel impeller with a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and the pump provides flush seal line taps for seal protection.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 184T NEMA frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards as defined by MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This equipment has a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.86.
