This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump assembly incorporates a bronze wear ring and uses a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This unit is rated for clean water applications up to 250°F. The design includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 286 T frame. It is configured for 200/60/3 power and utilizes across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and operates with CCW rotation. The pump maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.97.
