This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with a cast iron casing and cover. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 7-1/4" diameter stainless steel impeller. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid from contacting the pump shaft. A mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing existing piping.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with an ODP enclosure, a JM frame with feet, and a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. It incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and maintains premium efficiency in compliance with MG1-12.55. The pump operates in a 40 °C ambient environment using an across-the-line starting configuration. This equipment carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.83.
