This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with an 8" suction and a 6" discharge. It uses an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the shaft from system fluids. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 284 JM frame with feet. It operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The configuration utilizes a top center line discharge design to reduce piping strain and assist in self-venting.
