This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection. It uses a 9-1/2" bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA 182T frame style, configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.86 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
