This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller equipped with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F for clean water applications.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM using a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 213 NEMA T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is powered by 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH electricity and uses an across the line starting method. This assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI of 0.89. The system is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard.
