This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and cover, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps for filter installation. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It features a 213 JM motor frame with feet and is configured for 230-460/60/3 power. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and utilizes a standard across-the-line starting option with counter-clockwise rotation. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
